During lockdown my mum made the tough decision to close the family shop and set-up in our back garden. A positive to this was it meant I could spend more time with her and see what she did all day!

I quickly fell in love with what she did and soon after no longer did I have to bug mum to print me something as I could now do it myself.

I saw a butterfly photo I liked and added it to a jumper, it was incredible to wear something I created. Wearing it for the third time that week a friend asked where I'd bought it, giving me the opportunity to show off and scream that I had made it myself!

The friend then asked if she could have one as well, and there was the start of

my blue butterfly obsession. I created Papillon Bleue as tribute to the blue butterfly print that started it all.
